Ring sawing is often used by the Westcut team to finish off the job started by hand sawing, as a ring saw can penetrate deeper. Ring sawing is also used to carve out openings for windows and doors, or large sections out of floors, especially when the concrete or brick is particularly thick (over 150mm).
